Vessel Superintendent

Candidates must possess an STCW Class 1 or 2 Engineer Certificate of Competency or equivalent shore-based experience. Experience in a similar role, particularly in towage, offshore, or short-sea shipping, is essential. A strong grasp of marine engineering systems, maintenance planning, and dry-docking procedures is required, along with knowledge of ISM, ISPS, and MLC regulations. Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to manage multiple vessels in a fast-paced environment. Competency in IT tools, including Planned Maintenance Systems and MS Office, is also required. A full clean UK driver's license and the right to work in the UK are mandatory. Desirable qualifications include experience with ASD, Voith, or conventional tugs, knowledge of UK port operations, and a degree or HND in Marine Engineering or a related field.
