How CrewBase Handles Your Submissions
Every complaint, report, and feedback submission goes through a structured review process. Our dedicated trust and safety team examines each case individually, prioritizing reports that involve potential fraud, safety concerns, or violations of our community guidelines.
Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt. For general complaints and feedback, our team typically responds within 24 to 72 hours. Reports flagged as urgent — such as suspected scam job listings or safety threats — are escalated immediately and may be resolved within hours.
We take a zero-tolerance approach to fraudulent job postings. If a reported listing is confirmed as deceptive, it is removed from the platform within minutes, and the posting employer account is suspended pending further investigation.

Fraudulent or Misleading Job Listings
If a job posting asks for upfront payments, contains unrealistic salary promises, lacks verifiable company details, or requests sensitive personal information before a formal interview, report it immediately. Maritime job scams disproportionately target seafarers seeking international placements, and early reporting helps protect the entire community.
Platform Issues & Bugs
Encountered a technical problem? Whether it is a broken feature, incorrect data display, payment processing error, or notification malfunction, use the General Complaint form. Include your device type, operating system, and steps to reproduce the issue so our engineering team can investigate efficiently.
Feature Requests & Suggestions
CrewBase is continuously evolving based on user feedback. If you have ideas for new features, improvements to existing functionality, or suggestions for better user experience, the Product Feedback form is the direct channel to our product team. Popular requests are prioritized in our development roadmap.
Account & Data Deletion
Under GDPR and international data protection regulations, you have the right to request complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data. This process is irreversible and typically completed within 30 days. We will confirm deletion via your registered email address. Note that certain anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for legal compliance purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

All submissions are treated as confidential. Your contact information is used exclusively for follow-up communication related to your specific case. We do not share reporter identities with reported parties unless legally required. Reports can be submitted anonymously, though providing an email address allows us to update you on the resolution.
