Marine Investigator

Candidates must hold STCW II/2 (Deck) Unlimited, STCW III/2 (Engineering) Unlimited, or a relevant degree in Naval Architecture or a master's degree in human factors and safety systems. Relevant experience in command, as chief engineer, or as a marine accident investigator is essential. A strong understanding of International Maritime Organization instruments, particularly the Casualty Code, is required. The role involves travel within the UK and internationally, sometimes at short notice, and requires the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact.
