Candidates should ideally hold a Yachtmaster Offshore certificate, though exceptional applicants without this qualification may also be considered. Applicants must possess strong sailing abilities, high-level racing experience, and confidence in working at heights, operating large winches, and driving tenders. A solid background in dinghy racing and a minimum of one year of experience on performance sailing yachts is required.
