Requirements
Candidates must have experience working on wind turbine generators, performing maintenance and fault finding. A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems is essential, along with the ability to work effectively in offshore and remote environments. Strong communication and teamwork skills are required, as well as good attention to detail in reporting and documentation. Experience with Vestas platforms, particularly the V164 model, is desirable but not mandatory. Certifications required include WTSR Core, WTSR MMI (Theory & Practical), Vestas SAI, Vestas TOS, Vestas StaT or GWO BTTB, GWO Basic Safety Training (BST), GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT) in Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Bolt Tightening, GWO Sea Survival, GWO Lift / Avanti Dolphin Operator Training, GWO Slinger Signaller, Tool Tethering, and Fire Prevention Awareness. Willingness to work offshore, including rotation and shift patterns, and comfort working at height and in offshore conditions are necessary.
