Senior Cable Engineering Specialist

Candidates should possess a completed university degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or a comparable technical discipline. Several years of professional experience in planning and implementing high-voltage cable projects, particularly with 525 kV HVDC or 380 kV cable systems, is essential, with a strong focus on cable design. Extensive practical experience with type testing and acceptance testing of high-voltage cable systems is required, along with sound knowledge of thermal cable design and calculations. Experience in coordinating cable manufacturers and reviewing technical documentation is necessary. Knowledge of relevant standards and approval procedures for energy cable systems is also important. Proficiency in German at B1 level or above and English at C1 level or above is required, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
