Hydrographic Surveyor

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of offshore hydrographic survey experience, specifically with recent Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) work as the lead or sole surveyor. Hands-on experience with NORBIT MBES, particularly the iWBMS with integrated Applanix INS, is essential. Proficiency in GAMS calibration and full MBES patch testing is required. Strong skills in EIVA software, including NaviPac, NaviScan, NaviEdit, and NaviModel, are necessary. Experience with sensor integration, offset measurements, and system verification is also important. Knowledge of GNSS corrections, VORF chart datum reduction, and sound velocity profiling is expected. Experience surveying near fixed structures and within 500 m safety zones is preferred. Desirable experience includes oil and gas rig, platform, or debris surveys, as well as small-vessel operations and back-deck mobilisation. Relevant hydrographic qualifications (FIG/IHO Category A or B, or equivalent degree) are advantageous.
