Chief Engineer

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the rank of Chief Engineer and at least 2 years on DP2 Jack-Up Barges or Lift Boats. A degree from a recognized Maritime Academy or University is required, along with a valid Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW A-III/2) and a national Certificate of Competency with applicable Flag State endorsement. Additional requirements include a valid DP System Manufacturer approved DP Maintenance Course, BOSIET/FOET (with HUET), Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate (STCW I/9), Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI/1), Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (STCW A-VI/2-1), Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF - Reg. VI/3), Medical First Aid & Medical Care (STCW A-VI/4-1, A-VI/4-2), Security Training (STCW A-VI/6), Management Level Course (MLC) for Marine Engineer Officers (STCW A-III/2), and Engine Room Resource Management (ERM) (STCW A-III/2).
