Senior Technical Advisor

Candidates should possess a completed university degree in a relevant technical discipline such as mechanical engineering, offshore engineering, or subsea engineering. Several years of demonstrable experience in offshore power cable installation projects, particularly in shallow-water and nearshore environments, is required. Practical experience with cable lay barges and vertical injector systems, as well as experience with shore pulls into HDD ducts or micro tunnels, is essential. Familiarity with offshore transmission, grid connection, or renewable energy projects for a TSO or offshore wind developer is necessary. A sound understanding of cable installation standards and guidance, including DNV, Carbon Trust, and CIGRE, is expected. Candidates should also have experience coordinating interfaces with Marine Warranty Surveyors and hold a valid BOSIET or GWO certification for offshore assignments. Excellent written and spoken English, along with strong coordination and communication skills, are essential.
