3rd Engineer

Candidates must hold an STCW Reg. III/1 Engineer Officer of the watch - Unlimited certificate, along with various STCW safety training including A-VI/1-1 Personal survival techniques, A-VI/1-2 Fire prevention and fire fighting, A-VI/1-3 Elementary first aid, A-VI/1-4 Personal safety and social responsibilities, A-VI/2-1 Survival craft and rescue boats (not fast rescue boat), A-VI/3 Advanced fire fighting, A-VI/4-1 Medical first aid, and A-VI/6-4, VI/6-1 Security awareness for seafarers with designated duties. Additional qualifications include NOG or Opito HUET with CA-EBS and shoulder measurement, and FSE high and low voltage training. A valid unrestricted ENG 1 medical, Seaman's Book, and UK Passport are also required.
