Wind Turbine Service Technician

Candidates must have a recognized technical apprenticeship or qualification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (EQF Level 3+ or equivalent) and valid GWO training standards (BST, BTT preferred). Offshore medical certification (e.g, OGUK) and Chester Step Test / WFA Fitness certification are required. Experience with Siemens wind turbine technologies (SWT, SGRE, or similar platforms) is essential, along with competence in working at height and in confined spaces. Desirable qualifications include Siemens Level 1 / WT1 platform training and high-voltage switching or HV authorization pathway. Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in challenging offshore conditions are necessary.
